I have been working with cosmetic products from the Amazon Rainforest since 2013, on my trips to the forest I fell in love with what they call "Bio-Joias" - bio jewelry - jewelry made from Amazonian seeds, barks, cords and leaves that are sustainably wild harvest and before turning into beautiful and unique jewelry, their pulp was used for food.
I have been selling bio-jewelry for a while now on my cosmetic products site, but the more I got to know the artisans, how hard they work, the difference the sale of these pieces makes on so many lives, I decided that they needed full attention, so Rainforest Chica Jewelry was born.
